WARRANTY TERMS FOR VANDJORD EQUIPMENT
Warranty periods
The service life of the equipment is 10 years from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is specified on the equipment nameplate. The quality warranty period (hereinafter referred to as the "Warranty Period") does not apply to equipment with an expired service life.
The warranty period for the equipment ends 26 months after the month of manufacture.
Unless otherwise provided by these Warranty terms, warranty period for spare parts, repair kits, accessories (except for control cabinets), pumps without a motor (supplied as a spare part) is 12 months from date of sale to an end user. Warranty period is confirmed by sales documents.
When an equipment is replaced based on warranty, warranty period for new equipment starts over and is established as 12 months from date of replacement.
If an end user is a legal entity/individual entrepreneur, warranty period shall not be extended by the time an equipment has been on repair maintenance. If an end user is a consumer (as defined in the Law of the Russian Federation dated 07/02/92 N 2300-1), warranty period for equipment that has been submitted to warranty repair is increased by the time an equipment has been on repair. If period remaining after the repair is less than 6 months, warranty period is increased by up to 6 months from repair date.
If a service protocol based on results of diagnostics provided by an authorized Service center (hereinafter — Service center) temporarily prohibits equipment operation, this restriction is valid until warranty repair is finished. If this restriction is violated, warranty period for the equipment is terminated, and equipment is no longer subject to warranty repair.
Unless otherwise stated by these Warranty terms, warranty period for parts and nodes, replaced as part of non-warranty repair/maintenance of equipment by the Service center, is 12 months from the date when equipment was given to an end user. Warranty period for equipment stays the same. Warranty period is confirmed by service protocol of the Service center.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
In case of a warranty event, the equipment (parts, nodes) shall be repaired or replaced by the Service center for free. The Service center makes a decision on repair location or replacement based on applicable legislation. After warranty replacement, faulty equipment (parts, nodes) is given to the Service center based on an act.Unless otherwise stated by the law, the Service center defines a method of troubleshooting, including necessity of equipment replacement. The fault shall be eliminated in the shortest reasonable period, that may be required to eliminate it.
Equipment (component product) is deemed defective only when it was manufactured using materials, parts, nodes, that do not meet technical conditions and standards established by an applicable law, legal acts, documentation for equipment.
Warranty liabilities do not cover cases of natural wear and tear.
Warranty liabilities do not cover consumables, particularly: fuses, shaft seals (gland and sliding end sealings), O-ring seals, sleeve gaskets. In VNK, VLS type pumps, coupling sleeves are also considered consumables.
Warranty liabilities are terminated in the following cases:
- if equipment was commissioned to operation and/or is being operated and/or services with violation of requirements, established by the Installation and Operation Guide;
- if equipment had incorrect electrical, hydraulic, mechanical connection;
- if equipment was launched/is operated without water (or other pumped liquid);
- if the pumped liquid does not meet requirements of the Installation and Operation Guide;
- if equipment is supplied with electrical power that does not meet standards and regulations, stated in the Installation and Operation Guide;
- if equipment has defects or damages (including mechanical chemical), arising due to activity/inactivity of an end user, third parties, as a result of any other circumstances, occurred after the equipment was given to an end user (including when equipment transportation and storage rules are violated);
- if defects (faults) of the equipment happened due to fault or incompatibility of the end user's system;
- if equipment was modified/serviced/disassembled/repaired by a person, that is not a representative of the Service center;
- if equipment was changed, including in terms of design, without approval from the manufacturing factory;
- if non-original spare parts were used;
- if equipment was used in a scope of application/modes or by methods, not supported by this application (e. g., equipment installed in an environment/system, not designed for such equipment);
- if equipment was commissioned and/or is operated and/or maintained with violation of requirements, established by the applicable legislation, legal acts, equipment documentation;
- if equipment was exported from the state, where it was sold to an end user.
- Warranty liabilities are terminated once the warranty period is expired.
- Warranty liabilities do not cover cases when equipment specification does not match specification of an end user system.
- Applications for warranty repair are not accepted in the following cases:
- application has no date, end user's signature/mobile phone number/address (if an end user is a legal entity, than contact data of its authorized representative should be specified);
- if an end user refuses to provide the equipment for diagnostics in order to establish warranty event and sign corresponding documents.
Losses, related to mounting and dismantling of equipment during a warranty period, as well as damage, incurred to other equipment belonging to an end user, as a result of faults (or defects), towards which a warranty event is established.
Equipment diagnostics, that did not establish a warranty event, as well as works, conducted with equipment (e. g., any replacement of spare parts, etc.), that did not establish a warranty event, are a fee-based service and should be completely paid by an end user, just like travel expenses.
Expenses related to Service center waiting period and incurred due to delay from an end user, shall be paid by an end user.
Warranty claims cannot be raised due to reasons, not established in these Warranty terms.
To the extent, permitted by an applicable legislation, all claims, related to equipment, must be forwarded to a vendor according to applicable Civil code, unless otherwise directly stated by an applicable consumer legislation.
Unless otherwise stipulated by applicable legislation, there is no additional liability to the end user for any losses (direct or indirect) arising from the equipment and in relation to a contract, breach of the law (including negligence), violation, legal obligations or other (e.g. related to the settlement of the third-party claims). If a laysuit is filed assuming liability related to the equipment, it shoud be directed to the the equipment vendor in accordance with applicable legislation.

Any modification/maintenance/dismantling/repair of equipment or any other intervention, including warranty and non-warranty repair, conducted without a service protocol issued by a Service center representative, are considered unauthorized repair, leading to warranty termination;
- if equipment was changed, including in terms of design, without approval from the manufacturing factory;
- if non-authentic spare parts were used;
- if equipment was used in a scope of application/modes or by methods, not supported by this application (e. g., equipment installed in an environment/system, not designed for such equipment);
- if equipment was commissioned and/or is operated and/or maintained with violation of requirements, established by the applicable legislation, legal acts, equipment documentation;
- if equipment was exported from the state, where it was sold to an end user. Warranty liabilities are terminated once the warranty period is expired. Warranty liabilities do not cover cases when equipment specification does not match specification of an end user system. Applications for warranty repair are not accepted in the following cases:

Any messages (e. g., documents in PDF copy), sent via mobile phone number, specified in the application, are messages properly forwarded and received by an end user by the date of message submission.
Equipment diagnostics, that did not establish a warranty event, as well as works, conducted with equipment (e. g., any replacement of spare parts, etc.), that did not establish a warranty event, are a fee-based service and should be completely paid by an end user, just like travel expenses. Expenses related to Service center waiting period and incurred due to delay from an end user, shall be paid by an end user.
